Co-creation systems are essential to creating an equitable, regenerative future. We may create similar climate problems, with equally damaging or worse consequences if we follow a similar path of industrialization and colonization with bio-based materials and living organisms, as we have thus far. Working with living organisms requires a different approach, one of empathy, partnership and sometimes a release of control.
We will discuss the potential benefits and challenges of designing in tandem with natural systems with research as a tool. Join to discuss collaboration as a potential pathway and consider the ethics and broader implications of defining our biomaterials future.
